Spinach, French Style

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked spinach
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup chopped boiled ham
- 1 hard-cooked egg
- 1/2 cup buttered crumbs
Instructions
- Arrange the spinach in the bottom of a greased baking dish. Melt the butter and add flour, seasonings, and the milk. Stir until the boiling point is reached and add the ham and egg finely chopped; pour over the spinach, sprinkle with crumbs, and bake in a moderate oven, in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Servings, 6.
