Butterscotch Sauce No. 2

Ingredients

• 1 pound brown sugar
• 1/2 cup corn syrup (white or maple flavor)
• 1 cup water
• 1/3 cup butter

Instructions

1. 1Mix all the ingredients, put over the fire and stir until sugar is dissolved. Boil until a little of the syrup dropped in cold water forms a very soft ball.
