Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk or water
- 1 square chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- Mix flour with sugar and milk, add grated chocolate and cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened and smooth. Remove from fire, add butter and beat with egg-beater until butter is melted, and mixture slightly cooled. Add flavoring and salt and keep hot over hot water until needed for use. This sauce may be used cold if desired.
