Swiss Steak

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 or 2 pounds steak
• Salt and pepper
• 4 tablespoons flour

Instructions

1. 1Spread steak on board and rub well with seasonings. Pound as much flour as possible into it, about four tablespoons.
2. 2Place in covered casserole, with enough water to cover, and simmer in a moderate oven until tender. Bake in the oven for 4 hours at 325 degrees.
