Strawberry Mousse

Ingredients

• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• Few grains salt
• 1 cup strawberry purée (fresh strawberries rubbed through a sieve)

Instructions

1. 1Beat cream until stiff, and fold in sugar, salt, and strawberry purée. One-half cup maraschino cherries cut in pieces may be used instead of strawberries. Pack in ice and salt, and let stand for three hours. Servings, 4.
