Steamed Hot Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1/2 cup rye meal
- 1/2 cup white flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 1 teaspoon melted butter
Instructions
- Mix together dry ingredients.
- Add the milk, molasses, and melted butter. Beat thoroughly.
- Steam in well greased molds for 2 1/2 hours and then bake in a moderate oven for 15 minutes at 300 degrees.
