Prune and Apple Pie

Ingredients
- 3 cups sliced apples
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup stoned and cooked prunes
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions
- Line pie plate with pastry. Cover with a layer of apples and sprinkle with sugar. Then add a layer of prunes and sprinkle with sugar; then another layer of apples and sugar. Add lemon juice.
- Cover with pastry and bake in a moderately hot oven in the oven for 35 minutes at 400 degrees 5 minutes, 380 degrees 30 minutes.
