Plum Betty

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups canned plums (stones removed)
- 3/8 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Place a layer of plums in a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Cover with layer of crumbs and dot with bits of butter. Repeat until all the ingredients are used, having crumbs on top. Bake in a moderate oven until crumbs are browned, in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with Hard Sauce (see page 163).
