Make it into a paste with some of the milk; then add remaining milk. Add grated rind, and cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly, until it thickens.2Remove from fire, and stir in the egg yolks which have been beaten with a little water. Add the juice from the sliced orange pulp and cook two minutes.3Cool, fill a baked crust with the custard, and spread over it the sliced orange sections. Cover with meringue made from the two egg whites beaten stiff and one-quarter cup sugar. Brown meringue in a moderate oven in the oven for 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
