Mock Nut Muffins

Ingredients

• 2 cups sour milk
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1/2 cup corn meal
• 1/2 cup bran
• 1/2 cup flour
• 2 cups steel cut oatmeal
• 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

1. 1Mix milk and soda thoroughly. Mix all dry ingredients and combine the two mixtures. Add melted butter and pour into greased muffin pans.
2. 2Bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
