Japanese Icing
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/8 cup water
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Instructions
- Cook sugar, cream of tartar, and water together until it will spin a thread. Pour gradually, beating constantly, over stiffly beaten white of egg. Add almond extract and beat until thick.
