Escalloped Bananas

Ingredients
- 2 bananas
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups stale bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 4 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Slice bananas and sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix cinnamon, sugar, and salt together. Put alternate layers of bread, bananas, sugar mixture and raisins into a buttered pudding dish, and add water. Cover, and bake thirty minutes in a moderate oven; remove cover and brown. Serve with cream, or meringue. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Servings, 6.
