Date Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup broken stale bread
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cut dates
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Cook milk and bread in top of double boiler until bread is soft and light. Mix egg yolks with sugar and combine with other ingredients. Bake as custard in greased baking dish. Serve with cream. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes at 325 degrees.
