Corn Muffins On Griddle

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted shortening
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup yellow corn meal
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
Instructions
- Beat egg and add milk, sugar, and shortening, then add sifted dry ingredients and beat well.
- Bake in muffin rings on a hot griddle, filling the rings half full. Time in cooking, 25 minutes.
