Ada's Famous Gingerbread

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons molasses
• 2 tablespoons melted butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon clove
• 1/4 teaspoon ginger
• 1 egg
• 1 cup sour milk
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 2 cups flour

Instructions

1. 1Add molasses and butter to sugar. Add salt and spices and stir together. Add egg well beaten, milk, soda and flour sifted together. Pour into greased tin. Bake in a moderate oven in the oven for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
