Stewed Rhubarb And Figs

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound pulled figs
- Water to cover figs
- 1 pound rhubarb
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Wash figs thoroughly and drain. Add hot water to barely cover, and soak until plump. Wash rhubarb and cut in inch pieces without peeling, unless the skin is discolored. Put rhubarb, figs, sugar and fig water into double boiler, and cook until fruit is tender.
