Steamed Marmalade Pudding

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons shortening
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 6 tablespoons marmalade
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

1. 1Cream shortening and add sugar. Add beaten egg and marmalade. Mix baking powder and flour and add to mixture. Add milk if needed to moisten and steam two and one-half hours.
