Spinach Balls

Ingredients
- 3 cups chopped cooked spinach
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons grated onion
- 2 tablespoons grated cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
- 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and let stand ten minutes to swell the bread crumbs. Shape in balls and roll in bread crumbs. Then dip the balls in egg which has been slightly beaten with one-half cup cold water, and roll again in crumbs. Fry in deep fat. Serve at once or reheat in oven when desired, in cooking 3 minutes each at 380 degrees fat. Servings, 6.
