Pecan Nut Bread

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup corn meal
- 1 1/2 cups white bread flour
- 1 3/4 cup graham flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups sweet milk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 cup chopped pecan meats
Instructions
- Combine the flours and add baking powder and salt. Then sift.
- Add other ingredients to flour, beat well.
- Pour into a loaf tin, and bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees. A half cup of chopped dates or raisins may be added to this bread if desired.
