Hot Water Pastry

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 6 tablespoons shortening
• 4 tablespoons boiling water

Instructions

1. 1Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix in shortening with fork or finger tips, and stir in the boiling water. Cool before rolling.
