Flaky Pastry No. 2

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 6 tablespoons shortening
• Water

Instructions

1. Mix as above, reserving one and one-half tablespoons of shortening. Roll out, spread with half the shortening, roll up like a jelly roll, and roll out. Spread with remaining shortening, roll out again.
