Filled Pineapple Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions
- Cream shortening, and add sugar, and eggs well beaten. Add milk, vanilla, and flour which has been mixed and sifted with baking powder. Just enough flour should be used to make a dough as soft as can be rolled out. Chill, roll thin and cut with a cooky cutter. Put a spoonful of filling on half the rounds, cover with others, and press down edges. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in a moderately hot oven for 10 minutes at 370 degrees.
