Egg Buns

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 pint bread dough
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or lard
Instructions
- Work the eggs into the dough one at a time, stir in the sugar, flour, and the melted shortening, then set the dough to rise until light. Work it again and drop into muffin-pans, brush over with beaten egg and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake until a nice brown in a moderately hot oven for 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
