Ingredients
- 1 pint bread sponge
- 1 cup chopped nut meats
- 2 tablespoons maple or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 2 tablespoons caraway seeds
- 1 cup chopped dates
Instructions
- Mix ingredients thoroughly and add enough flour to make into a loaf. Let rise until at least double in size, brush over with beaten egg and sprinkle with coriander seeds. Bake in a moderately hot oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 380 degrees.
