Chestnut Stuffing for Turkey
Ingredients
- 1 quart chestnuts
- 2 cups bread or cracker crumbs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
- 1/3 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Shell chestnuts, pour boiling water over them and remove inner brown skin.
- Boil in salted water or in stock till soft.
- Mash fine and add the other ingredients.
