Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups soft stale bread crumbs
- 1 1/3 cups hot milk
- 1 1/3 cups grated cheese or
- 1 cup cheese cut in small pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 eggs
Instructions
- Mix bread crumbs, milk, cheese, salt, and butter. Add egg yolks thoroughly beaten. Fold in whites of eggs beaten until stiff. Pour into a greased baking dish and bake in a moderate oven until firm for 45 minutes at 325 degrees.
