Ingredients
- 3 cups diced carrots
- 3 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup sliced onion
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Put the vegetables in layers in a greased baking dish. Place the butter in small bits over the top; pour over the water in which salt has been dissolved. Bake in moderate oven, having dish tightly covered, in the oven for 2 hours at 325 degrees. Servings, 6.
