Berry Griddle Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup berries
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients, rub in shortening and add milk to make a soft batter. Add the berries and drop in muffin rings and bake on a hot griddle. Without the berries these are like baking powder biscuit. Time in cooking, 20 minutes.
