Bacon and Sweet Potatoes

- Potatoes
- Thinly sliced bacon
- A cup of water or beef gravy
Instructions
- Parboil the potatoes, peel, and slice. Put an inch layer in a baking pan, and over them a single layer of thinly sliced bacon. Then add another layer of potatoes and bacon, and so on, having bacon on top. Add a cup of water or beef gravy, cover, and bake in moderately hot oven until the bacon on top is brown. Bake in the oven for 1 hour at 375 degrees.
